It ain’t me. I don’t own any land. I’m a member of the Proletariat: I must sell my labor to survive. Most Americans are in the same situation.
It’s hard for me to feel sorry for people who profit off the land their ancestors stole from the natives generations ago. If the landowning class gets hit, so what?
So what do you eat? Food created in your lab? Where do you live? In a space station? Don’t tell me your home is located in stolen land.
It’s not just them that will be affected. It’s them and all the people that sell them products or services. It’s less money in the economy.
Uh oh, Trump figured out something he has control over that is not countered by checks and balances. Expect more decisions like this as his sociopathic nature searches for ways to exercise power.
A good thing is that they will restrict Chinese investment in the US, so real estate prices will drop.
Good news for young people who have not bought home yet.
Restrict investment in US real estate? Don't be silly.
I almost forgot about the massive spending bill - that could account for some of the Wall Street meltdown today, in addition to his trade war. But didn't Donnie say he was going to eliminate the deficit and cut government spending? Did he mistakenly add another trillion dollars to our debt without realizing it? Or could he have been (gasp!) lying during the campaign?
More taxes on the American people through increased prices on goods and devaluation of the dollar. More central-government meddling in the economy. Capitalism be damned.

If anything, food will be cheaper here if they can’t easily export it to China. Supply and demand 101.
It’s a win-win for ordinary Americans. Fewer manufacturing jobs will be exported to slave-labor nations with no environmental laws, and food will be cheaper at home. Big Ag profits will go down, but that is bad only for the owners of Big Ag, aka the economic elites.
Naturally, Wall Street is upset at the possibility of higher wages, which will mean reduced profits.
If this ramps up, get ready for stagflation. The idiot indicated this is only just the start and more to come.
