As long as 100% of the additional expense is due to higher wages, it’s ok. Wages get spent in the economy and keep the economy going. Profits, by contrast, get sent to the Cayman Islands or Swiss bank accounts.

It’s a win-win for ordinary Americans. Fewer manufacturing jobs will be exported to slave-labor nations with no environmental laws, and food will be cheaper at home. Big Ag profits will go down, but that is bad only for the owners of Big Ag, aka the economic elites.

Naturally, Wall Street is upset at the possibility of higher wages, which will mean reduced profits.
Are you an economist? Because 100% of economists disagree with you.

And you actually believe Trump wants that? I don’t believe so because he lies so easily but I understand sometimes people have values and beliefs. However I just don’t believe that’s the case.

Well let’s fantasize a little bit:

I remember reading Robert Mercer or his daughter want to bring manufacturing back. Who knows what’s going on. It could be that Trump is listening to his donor. He has been replacing a lot of his staff. I think if that were the case, Multinationals will buy some republican congressmen to make sure trump gets impeached. If that doesn’t work they will probably assessinated him. Multinational companies will not allow that. These are ruthless companies with no morals.

I'll try to be civil here...

a. Explain to everyone how I'm a "fake libertarian."

b. Libertarians don't care about race like you Statists do; we only value individuality. Thomas Sowell, whom I quoted, is a black economist.

c. Why is it the fault of libertarians when we all knew Trump knew nothing about economics from the very beginning? Most of us didn't vote for him.

Taxation is the problem, not profits. Eliminate all taxes; business profits stay here, people get to keep 100% of the fruits of their labor, and they spend their money on things they actually use.

That’s beautiful but with what money are you gonna protect your sovereignty?

The word is that China is going to strike back by hitting Trump states. I guess that would mean action against ag exports.

And the EU said it was going to target swing states (or maybe Canada said that - hard to keep up ).

Would that be the same or similar to "influencing an election?"
