Trump and Kushner will benefit from that tunnel more then most. It will make their properties worth more.

How many times do I have to post the links proving that the good walls do work before you and yours stop repeating this nonsense? What good will that tunnel be when and if terrorists sneak into this country via our southern border and either blow it up or some other structure in this country along with all the lives that will be lost? Why can't we do both since the wall will save us over $100 billion a year for the social costs of illegal aliens? I am sick of the lame arguments in here not to complete that 700 miles of good wall along the most porous areas of our border which was already approved by congress back in 2006. WTH is wrong with you anti-wall people?

Nothing at all wrong with us. I listen to C-Span Washington Journal almost every day. I've heard REPUBLICAN Congressional Representatives and Senators from the border states state - repeatedly over the past two years - the wall needs to be surgical and strategic and there is a smarter way to secure the border than a huge expensive 700 mile boondoggle. These clever traffickers of drugs and people will always find a way.

The Wall is planned to be 'surgical and strategic.' Border patrol agents have told Trump what and where they need a physical barrier.

Watch Mick Mulvaney explain the wall, DHS and security provisions in the budget. Don't listen to presstitute spin. It's actually very informative. Facts without hysteria!

I'm all for raising the minimum wage also and I'm a conservative. However, with millions of cheap illegals available the greedy employers will hire them over Americans as usual. Get rid of illegals and they will be forced to hire Americans again. Let's not bring up lazy Americans as most Americans aren't lazy and they worked for a fair wage until millions of cheap illegals flooded our border. They did all of the jobs you mentioned.
Good. We have found some common ground.

IMO if we go after the employers FIRST so that they don't hire the illegals then the illegals will either go back home (many do when work dries up) or not come here at all since they know they won't find work. We have our share of lazy louts, my late brother in law was one of them.

Health care is a biggie. My sister used to drive all the way across Baltimore for a bookkeeping job that only paid $10/hour but it provided health insurance which she sorely needed. If the McDonald's that was walking distance up the street from her house offered $10/hour with health insurance she would've gladly flipped burgers there.

Even Wal-Mart pays so little that a lot of their people are on Food Stamps (SNAP); something is very wrong with that. If we raise the minimum wage to a living wage then the government can stop giving away so many billions worth of Food Stamps each year. We can pay now at Wal-Mart or we can pay later via SNAP, but no doubt about it....we are going to pay.

Because they are Socialists at heart.

Illegals affect the country as a whole. That tunnel affects who, those from Ny and NJ for the most part? People from NY and NJ should set up a GoFundMe page, or, just raise taxes in those two states.

Please we pay enough taxes in these states do to all the subsidies we give everyone! But I see this project at least doubling and due to the cronyism - someone close to Schumer and DeBlasio will get the project for way more than other contractors who may be better.

That tunnel will be a Union built tunnel and end up being another Big Dig costing 5 times the expected costs. Once they start they'll have to keep pouring money into it.

Pass a local sales tax addition to pay for it if it's really needed. Or make it a private / public toll road.
