In the 80`s and the 70`s people weren`t as weary of this madness as they are now. The focus is now on schools but what about the church shoot-ups, concerts, movie theaters, etc.? We shouldn`t be normalizing this form of terrorism
We defend our military bases and police stations with armed personnel, and there never has been a mass shooting (at armed personnel).
How about putting more armed security in churches, concerts, schools, movie theaters, etc? Most of them are gun-free zones.
And when there's an active shooter on the loose, someone has to call someone with a gun (the police) to stop them.
Apples and oranges, whataboutery, absurd comparison. Guns are tangible, free speech is not. Come on, there are valid points that your side can make, but this is certainly not one of them.
It absolutely is a valid point. Can we require a license to express free speech and to vote, both of which are also Constitutional Rights? Why or why not?
I'm afraid David Hogg might push the envelope further being more agressive then his mighty and raging fury* inside him will blow up and going out of control.
(* I taked this found from the title card of the live-action Incredible Hulk pilot tv episode:""Within each of us, ofttimes, dwells a mighty and raging fury" and that quote might fit David Hogg like a glove)
You're so kind to be worried about David Hogg. I love all these arm chair psychiatrists, diagnosing these kids, lol.
Don't worry. No one is going to take your guns. You can relax.
That's just the reality of this entire gun debate when its all said and done - nobody is banning or coming for any guns that is legally own today, including AR15's.
