I read in the article that 20 shots were fired and he was hit multiple times, not that he was shot 20 times.

Why aren't blacks more outraged at black on black violence? It's over a 100x bigger problem for their community. Why do they tolerate brother against brother killings without a single protest?

Yes. Our LEOs aren't perfect. The are human beings. But without any LEO presence at all in the poorer neighborhoods, black on black crimes and killings would be so much worse.

Ghetto blacks need to seriously fix their broken culture with its issues of machismo, lack of two parent families and zero desire for academic achievement (stop defacing your public schools and assaulting your teachers). For a start, they need to discard their thuggie rap music lifestyle and find better mentors than Kanye West and Beyonce. Blacks have made great music with the blues, jazz and Motown. They can do better than rap which is only a variation of angry tribal beats and the black on black violence no better than the current ethnic cleansings in Africa.

Believe it or not, most Americans don't care if a criminal gets shot when he is trying to escape from the police. It's the job of the police to do what they determine is best in such a situation.

That's just the way it is, people.

Source? That does not appear to be an accurate rendering of what the doctor says. Are you making up stuff?

You guys are still missing the helicopter video.
High-light this and copy then search:
...

Watch: Here's what happened in the shooting of Stephon Clark

...

They were pursing him with instructions from the helicopter. I do not think they expected him to turn back towards them. That's most likely why they cleared that corner and then had to duck back to take cover.

Yesterday a news radio station did a feature with a former police chief, I think he was. He said that in the past officers used six-shot revolvers. Today they use semi-automatics that discharge more ammunition with one pull and the shooting is much faster. Twenty shots can happen without pulling the trigger 20 times.

Police officers service weapons are still semi-automatic. One bullet per trigger pull.

Prior to the Miami Dade incident, police standard carry was a six-shot revolver (one bullet per trigger pull.) After that incident, police departments across the country switched to higher capacity semi-automatic pistols. In Clark's shooting, it appears that the officers had 10 round magazines and emptied the entire magazine (each.) Some service weapons will hold up to 19 rounds.

So in the end a young man is dead and the future of two police officers looks dim.
The family will sue, the city will settle for 4-5-6 ? million dollars because they don't want the hassle of a jury trial.
The lawyers get 2 million, the family gets 3 million. They move to Hawaii or Florida and spend their time partying by the pool until eventually they run out of money.
What I claim here is brutally cynical, but it seems like certain men are willing to give up their life to provide for the family.
I believe 90 % of them would be alive if they were just a bit more calm and submissive.
I believe 90 % of them would be alive if the officers had a dog.
In the meantime the roads and bridges go crumbling as taxpayers money goes to pensions and settlements.
