So essentially you're a communist without a State (or as Marx put it...the end game)?
Syndicalism is a form of anarcho-communism. Biggest difference from Marx is that it doesn't put the power in the hands of the state to transform society, it puts it directly in the hands of the workers.

If you want to see it, go to Chiapas Mexico.

I'll read up on it. Thanks for the info.

I've only had a brief exposure to it. Frankly, it sounds dreadful. But I'll have to investigate more.

There are two reasons to ban guns, assault or otherwise:
1) Fear of guns, and
2) Fear of guns.

The first reason is that they're scary, so let's ban them to feel safe - just not from predators.
The second reason is that you're a predator (or their ally), and you don't like it when prey shoot back at you.

The real beneficiary of disarmament is the predator, not his prey.
