Young people have often been used as a tool for the left: Eric Metaxas
Been using them for years. Once the 18 year old set got the right to vote, The Left set about telling them their input was important; said they wanted "fresh young ideas".

It's nonsense, of course. The Old Guard on the left needs the youngster's vote, that's all. And once they have the vote they will do as they please. Who could possibly believe that Schumer and Pelosi need "fresh young ideas"?

Right. Because seeing their friend shot dead before their eyes certainly would not motivate a young person to protest.

Really sad they can't come up with any other justification for why the young aren't buying into the racism, sexism, anti-education, anti-equality message of the GOP
I guess it is good though that they are admitting the Dems are better at manipulating than the GOP...at least we are smart enough for that...
So we should do OK in the midterms...

Yeah this has been happening for decades if not centuries....the young are often idealistic and friendly to Leftist philosophies until they (the intelligent ones) get older and realize eventually you run out of other peoples money.

I think it's good that young are getting involved but they are not yet wise enough to make good decisions with politics are anything else for that matter.

Then protest the criminal that actually did the murdering which is already illegal, not the tool they used.

I think this "conventional wisdom" - that people are liberal when young and become more conservative with age - is not really true. I think there was a thread about this not long ago. It was entitled: “New Study Shows Young People Are Staying Liberal and Conservatives are Dying Off.” But experience (not research) tells me that most people who are liberals when young continue to be liberals when old. I imagine the same is true of conservatives. Most people don't change their political viewpoints much over the years.

Children are pawns for people of any political persuasion. Think Conservatives' "family values" nonsense.

There's nothing that man said that isn't true.

Two tools the Democrats love using: The race card and young people.
