Whenever China needs some pressure taken off for anything from human rights to illegal dumping, island ownership disputes etc. they order NK to start lobbing missiles and then offer to help keep them in check in exchange for concessions lol.

Xi has never visited North Korea, which is very unusual. Kim has never visited China either.
