It's probably about 5% of the hard core white/male/gun worshipping/rural/exburban/hard right nut cases who routinely talk about this stuff on this and other forums.
Yep ...we country folk are ignorant rubes who cling to our guns and religion, like Barack Obama said. I often wander over to my neighbors garage in the summer time and we talk ...about cars! He does great body work, by the way. But he does own guns and he hunts, like so many other people in my area. But you city dwellers know nothing about guns. To you, they are unnecessary, and are all "weapons of war," and a sporting rifle like an AR-15 is an "assault weapon."

Who are the know nothings?

But, though I grew up in the country, and am in the country again now, I spent many years in electronic sales and marketing, traveled a lot (a frequent flyer before the airlines invented the term), and was a field service technician even before that. So ...yeah, I live in the country, but I'm no rube.

Gosh, come to think of it, even my doctor has a few acres in the area. Does that make him a rube?

Talking Now's the time!

When the Dems take power and call in the guns, it would not surprise me at all if the Dems take down the borders and let the illegals flood in to do the dirty work of disarming the patriots. They would dangle the promise of citizenship for doing a successful job. The Dems would arm and deputize the illegals and let them loose to roam the country to confiscate the guns by any means necessary.

If the country goes to hell with internal civil war by a Dem based gun confiscation, what better time could there be for a foreign country to attack us? EMP, shut down our grid, bio chemical attack. And who is to blame? The gun grabbing Dems. If this scenario came to pass, don't you think the patriots are within their rights to take out every Dem they could find under articles of treason?

Get that old Y2K bunker in the back yard cleaned out and stocked with bottled water and peanut butter.

Be prepared!

Because local LEOs are the ones who will be coming to confiscate. Not "the left". Not some boogie/phantom army men. Think they're mentally prepared for that? Absolutely not.
I wonder if you even have an inkling of what our Founders thought and feared most about government? Have you ever read any of the Federalist Papers? Do you know why we have the Second Amendment? It might surprise you to learn that these highly educated, wise men, who knew their history, feared a tyrannical government more than anything else. That's why we have the Second Amendment.

It might be time for you to learn some history, and study the Constitution, and it's origin.

Most war mongering Republicans love war because they’ve never been in one. These guys were the ones with all the deferments and bone spurs like the Liar in Chief used. Let them go to war then maybe they will be singing a different song when they come back. If they come back....

Yet all the wars were started by progressives/globalists...not conservatives.

Lefties seem oblivious to the fact that the majority of Conservatives only are visible/audible when then are attacked.

...And the left is constantly attacking all things Conservative/American.

Nice try, conservative and American are not synonymous as your post tries to make them

the ones talking about wars are just talking childish nonsense. They often don't seem to understand they would be fighting the US military and not some emo libs.

They would classed as terrorists and locked up for decades to life. It would make some pretty high ratings for the cable stations and if FOX supported them FOX would likely find itself out of business for aiding terrorists or some flavor of that..
