Former child star Corey Feldman was briefly hospitalized early Wednesday with a cut on his abdomen and told police that he had been stabbed by a mystery man at a Los Angeles intersection.
...
On Twitter, Feldman described — in all caps — how he was attacked by a man who “OPENED MY CAR DOOR & STABBED ME WITH SOMETHING.”
Feldman said his attacker was one of three men who approached the car. He wrote that he had security team members with him but that they were distracted.
...
In the afternoon, a Feldman representative told NBC News that the actor was stabbed with what was believed to be a needle or syringe.
"It was my understanding the police were initially investigating this as an attempted homicide due to the fact that they didn't try to take Corey's wallet or car, they just stabbed him with an object and ran," the rep said.
In case you do not know, Feldman has been coming out about the sex abuse and pedophilia in Hollywood. He believes this incident is linked to his public revelations.
Text said his Security team was distracted with a guy. It sounds like the “guy” was an intentional distraction but at least one of the security team should have stayed focused on Corey?
Yeah... what's that about? Seemed strange to me as well.

"Security Team" sounds really good, though. (If you travel with a "Security Team", your car doors are probably locked. For, y'know, security.)
And we're talking Los Angeles, Steven Spielberg drives himself in a Prius without a "Security Team".
Feldman is one of those sad cases who sounds so bonkers as a baseline, it's hard to tell signal from noise. And to me, this sounds like more of a road rage incident used to get his name in the headlines than anything else.

We know you don't care for him.
I didn't sensationalize the OP... just noting it to see if anything comes of it.
If people REALLY wanted him killed, they would have done better than send whomever attacked him - that's for sure. Definitely amateur night...
