A dozen lawsuits from Leftists, exploding heads and "Civil Rights"/"right to vote" hyperbole from the Leftists.
Keep it up folks ....... draw those Red Lines between Citizens and Illegal Aliens, draw more of those Red Lines between Citizens and Illegals, draw more of those Red Lines calling Gun Owners "Nazis" with blood on their hands. Leftists have already thrown DACA folks under their Partisan Ideology Bus, the 2nd Amendment is on the line and so it our Vote and Electoral Process.
It was part of the census long form that 1 in 6 Americans received.
Obama created some American Community Survey in 2010, and moved the citizenship question to that form... which 1 in 38 Americans received.
This a from an NPR article (full on Liberal):
See column 13 and 14? That's 1950 asking where a person is born and if he/she is a naturalized citizen.
It doesn't matter how long these questions have been asked. It is illegal to represent people who are not here legally. California and several other states have been illegally counting aliens to represent over citizens and legal immigrants.
OP: moneill responded "What's your definition of hysterical"... my answer would be "a progressive liberal" who seem to explode into hysterics at the very mention of anything law abiding, constitutional, and rational.

Protect those Gang Bangers at all costs.
The only thing they want to protect are the votes for a dying ideology.
Even Senator Feinstein didn't know how many states (38, 75%) it would take to amend the constitution. I was dumbstruck when she said "I don't know exactly, 35 or 45... something like that" - Like wtf?
Because the purpose of the census is to determine the allocation of representation of the states in Congress it makes perfect sense to determine citizenship status of the respondents. Why should a state with large numbers non citizen residents who cannot legally vote have more representative than another state with lower numbers of residents but potentially more citizens.

Only out of controll Leftist want Illegals in the country with no repercussions to breaking our immigration laws. Democrat states like California are effectively destroying our sovereignty by giving what is effectively, citizenship rights, to all people here illegally.
TRANSLATION: Sure enough, the question was present in every census.
No. It wasn't. Those of us who study our genealogy and depend on census records in order to attempt to find our personal family stories will tell you, it's not on every census.
Thanks for linking yet another article that proves the citizenship question was included every year.
Out of the three people in your post (Sarah, me, and you), Sarah and I turned out correct. Who does that leave suffering from "confusion"?
Did you not read the article? It said that Sarah's response was misleading and partially false. The question was last seen on the forms to ALL HOUSEHOLDS in 1950. It was included only on the long form, which was sent to 1/6 of households. Well, read the article to get the details.
Silly liberals, the question about citizenship has been in every census for more than a century

Obama removed it and put it in another form.
Yes ~ he said it in the thread title. "Has been in EVERY census"
OP was wrong and he is still unable to face it.
