If guns made a community safer then we would have the safest country on earth.
More guns = lower gun crime rates. As gun ownership has increased by 50% over the last 20 years, the gun homicide rate has DECREASED by 50% and the nonfatal violent gun crimes rate has DECREASED by 76%.
By that logic, since the United States was responsible for the Trail of Tears and Japanese Internment during WWII, we should denounce everyone who wears an American Flag pin in public, right...?

The Trail of Tears caused an estimated 4,000 deaths, because White Americans wanted to steal the land owned by the tribes. This is tantamount to execution. Draw a distinction if you can. My guess is, you can't. The United States Government is hardly one to talk about Human Rights. Remember that when you wear your flag pin. Some people don't believe the winners accounts of history.
