380 Sheriffs tell congress to build the wall

Lets not be confused about what law enforcement thinks about law and order.

And how many of those actually live in border towns? Because most of those say its a dumb idea.

Getting 380 sheriffs to sign that is not a impressive number. Im not even sure thats 10%

More than 3,000 sheriffs' offices operate across the United States.
Over 3,000 sheriffs in 2008. So about 10% as a previous poster said. Look at it this way:
NINETY PERCENT OF SHERIFFS DO NOT WANT A BORDER WALL.

Shout all you want ( bold ). Back in the real world the 380 Sheriffs sound louder in voice and action.

"The only thing Congress does understand and they move on is when the people of this nation rise up," Hodgson said. "So (the sheriffs are) going to stand by the American people, we're going to encourage them to rise with us, and send a clear message to Congress that enough is enough."

Politicians read polls. Anything under 40% is meaningless.

So if I get 381 sheriffs to sign something saying that a wall is not helpful you would suddenly support them?

380 is not that impressive. Seriously.

Id rather see us fund e-verify and make it mandatory. AND put in penalties for renting to illegals. Start jailing people who employ them. You know, doing things that would be effective, not just fund some contractors next yacht.

Yep. That should be the real title of this thread, but how could the OP spread his distortion of the facts that way?

If 90 % are silence on the wall it doesn't mean they are against it.

“Without border security and immigration reform, more Americans will continue to be victims of crime. Now is the time to act ”

“We’re calling on Congress to take action now, on the security issues at the border and against sanctuary policies in our states, cities and towns.”

There is no distortion of facts in the title only the denial of them in your opinion.
