Yep, Biden is absolutely correct. This isn't 1776 any more, where you need a gun in case those pesky English come back again. This is 2018, and hopefully, we have evolved a lot in the past 250 ish years.

A tyrannical Govt (or someone representing them), would NEVER come out and admit or announce they are tyrannical, instead, they disguise it, usually by referring to safety, security, national security, blah blah blah.

As to this issue, he was dumb enough to say all anyone needs is a double barrel shotgun. For those of you unfamiliar with it's capabilities, it only has two shots and must then be reloaded.
He went on to say that he has instructed his wife to fire off both rounds to scare/warn off a potential attacker. Of course that would then leave her vulnerable to attack, but good old Joe seemed oblivious to that fact.
According to Bill Clinton, Gore lost the election because of the gun issue. It would seem that 20 years later the Democrats have still not learned their lesson.
But let them rant and rave about removing Americans rights, and see how well that works for them.

The Democrats, and Republicans know that more gun control laws are political suicide for most of America. We will not see any MEANINGFUL legislation on the Federal level. Some states will pass more feel good laws, but many of them are already Nanny state, Liberal/Progressive hell holes.
Biden doesn't think before he speaks, or he is just not that bright. He's also told Black audiences that the Republicans want to put them back in chains. That is moronic at best.
Fools are those that think the founders gave us the second amendment so we can shoot our elected officials if we feel they`re "tyrants" whatever the heck that`s supposed to be.

I did see where he referenced that Justice Paul Stevens did call for the repeal based on the misinterpretation of the amendment but nope didn't see anything in this article that says Joe Biden thinks it should be repealed. Didn't see where he said Yup -- I agree.

Technically I agree with you. He parsed his words, but insinuated that repeal should be considered, but didn't outright say it.

He's wrong. There is no "standing militia". There is the unorganized militia that is made up of private, individual citizens that get called up WITH their privately owned firearms if needed. That is what the Founders intended. He's disagreeing with the Supreme Court, which is fine, but he is ignoring the Founder's intent for political reasons. In other words, he is lying.
That is for sure. You guys can bank on the DEMwits taking our guns away.
