I won’t go into all the legal side of that having taught it in law school. But there’s rational or irrational policy.”
Biden is right. The Supreme Court has swung too far to the right on the interpretation of the 2d Amendment. He did not say it needed to be repealed but a need for balance. Which is very reasonable except for cuckoo neurotic zealous gun carrying crackpots.

Was the 39th Congress capable of time travel? They must have come out of the 1860's and took Scalia's opinion with them and used it to argue that the Southern state militas, enforcing the Black Codes disarming Freemen (former slaves, new citizens) needed to be disbanded because they were violating the 2nd Amenmdent rights of Blacks.
