Highly analytical on your part.

I am active on several 2A sights, as well as a member of a few gun clubs, and most people there are very anti Dick Sporting Goods, and stopped shopping there. They are NOT 2A friendly. Leave Dicks to the soccer Moms, and golfers.

Really? Lawyer advise their female clients to get a PFA, restraining order, or other vehicle against their husbands in custody battles. NO DUE PROCESS, they take your firearms away immediately, and give the woman leverage in the custody case.

Or police stealing your car and cash at a traffic because they like them. Good luck getting it back. You will spend as much on lawyers as what they took.

As for custody. Sometimes true but not always. I know a guy who gets along well with his (cheating) ex because they agree only on "The best for our daughter" He pays extra above the court order CS for rent (directly to the landlord) so his daughter can live in a better school district. Because his ex was caught cheating NC which still cares about cheating, no alimony for her. There were no restraining orders.

But you DON'T support someone's decision NOT to patronize them because of their stance AGAINST CIVIL RIGHTS?

Dicks will do well as have other chains that have quit selling guns, the question is why do they care since there is no shortage of places to buy guns.

CVS stopped selling cigarettes, McDonalds and other fast food places changed their cooking oils to healthier types, and there was hand-wringing from many on here. Both CVS and McDonalds are doing more than fine despite being "PC".

The only other chain stores that quit selling guns in the past 20 years due to pressure by activists were kmart. How are they doing right now?

I care less why someone decides to not support them. If this causes you to go elsewhere, that is your call.

Quit leaping off cliffs.
