It is a little bit psychology, but related to politics.
I have noticed that certain personality types really hate when other people fight back or retaliates or even defends themselves. They hate it far more than an original aggression, sometimes original aggression is ignored or not considered an issue. In my theory this is leftist pacifism, with the thinking that a fight starts not with aggression, but with the victim hitting back. Once someone fights back, then it is a harsh fight that shakes the pleasant lives of nearby people, while a targeted aggression leaves bystanders non-disturbed. John Lennon was singing about a world with no war, but he did seem to have problem with peace time genocide or other non-returned aggression. It can also be looked at as r-selected persons hating the presence of any K-selected persons (the only people fighting back are K types), feel threatened by them instinctively as by "predators".
Examples:
- School bully kicks a classmate every day, but one day the kid kicks back at the bully, then the teachers give a suspension to the kid who kicked back at the bully while letting the bully go free.
- The British government investigates and tries to prosecute people who protest against Muslim rape gangs, but cover up for most perpetrators of those rape gangs and refuse to investigate them.
- If someone at work lies about you to try to get you fired or blamed for their own mistakes, but you expose the lie, then managers go after you for creating a conflict, because the liar is now forced to attack more openly.
- Protesters against the second amendment, they dont want people to be able to defend themselves from an attacker or home invader. It is not just the side effect of having guns around, many anti-gun people hate the idea of you (not the police) defending yourself.
I think this all has to do with leftist people. This means ideologies like communism are really not the cause for people to think this way, rather their brains having this tilt makes them ideal hosts of mind viruses like communism.
What do you think:
- is there a pattern of hating self-defending people?
- is this all related to leftism?
There are very few studies about the leftist minds, but I think it would be possible to compile a list of core intuitions of the leftist mind.
- aggression is tolerated, but defense is not (one of the super weird lefty things)
- hate towards seeing or talking about any difference between people
- hate towards merit and successful people
- intolerance to any difference in opinion between anyone
- thinking everyone else is evil
- ???

Considering it's the rightists who profess themselves to be devoted Christians, those who profess 'turn the other cheek' rather than retaliation in defense of themselves, I think your supposition is utter NONSENSE!
Leftists think that everyone should rely on the government to provide their protection, retirement, housing, healthcare, and college. And anyone who can afford those things themselves should have their taxes increased.
