Trump reacted to a segment on Fox and Friends about a Buzz Feed story about a caravan of more than a thousand people from Honduras walking through Mexico. Buzz Feed has a reporter traveling with the caravan of about 1200 people. Trump claimed they intended to take advantage of DACA. As is too common, Trump is once again the source of fake news.

New arrivals are not eligible for DACA.

Buzz Feed is also reporting that the US support ( Obama and Trump Admins) of corrupt Honduran leadership is a factor.

Catch and Release is a border policy, not a law.

According to this, ICE is once again employing Catch and Release due to a lack of beds and other resources to house people awaiting trial.

Why is Trump so obsessed about immigration anyway? He is consumed by hate just for illegal immigrants, but immigrants in general. Consider the Muslim (whoops, travel) ban, his endless talk about the wall, reducing immigration overall, securing the border, DACA, Dreamers, etc. . .
