Would like to see some of the complainers in this thread suggestion to stop the 300 Billion in annual damages caused by IP theft.
Just bend over and take it?
Trump is the one bending us over. The WH just said to expect some "short-term pain". Easy enough statement when everyone in his cabinet as well as himself has multi-generational wealth.

How quickly that paycheck Christmas present from Trump to the middle class is going to be ashes very soon. But thank goodness for those who are receiving an actual break. It s needed very soon.
Still, what does Trump care about some short term pain. He doesn't pay for his food. WE DO.

Actually, while we pick up the tab for his weekly trips to Florida and all the golfing, Trump pays for his own cheeseburgers.
Presidents are billed for the cost of food and toiletries that they use while in the White House.
Agree on coal. China targeting soybeans was a brilliant move on their part -- among the top states for soybean exports are Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Trump's reelection chances went down the drain.
China's largely rubber stamp parliament passed a series of constitutional amendments, including one that removes presidential term limits, allowing President Xi Jinping to remain in office indefinitely.
"he has also put his political house in order, with loyal supporters installed in key positions after a series of high-profile purges and power shuffles. The Chinese president has all the elements in place to make the big moves required for international financial confrontation."

With no worries about elections and a solid backing from his parliament, President Xi Jinping is in an excellent position.
All that and the real battles have hardly begun.
The president position is the least important of the three positions that Xi holds. His positions as chairman of the CCP and the Chinese Military Commission are far more important and these two positions have no term limits. So when the western media make a huge fuss over Xi becoming so powerful, the fact is that he iis already really powerful and the presidential position is only a sort of frosting on the cake. He is definitely emperor Xi to us little mortals.
Drop in the bucket, they need us way more than we need them.
There are a lot of mouths to feed in China.
Bacon anyone?
You know very little about world economics and how it works. Trumpeters are just this simple and that’s why they want coal back and they are not afraid of trade wars. The failing of our public school system is so pa8nfully obvious in times like these.
