This is a major reason why I was against tearing down the confederate statues . . . I knew it wouldn't stop there (that, and I was also against whitewashing history).
Though we have done and continue to many things that oppress/offend minority groups, another question how can one express themselves without offending them. By offending them, I mean from both objective and subjective standpoints.
Well before (and during) when Europeans populated America, Indian tribes murdered, and enslaved each other on a regular basis. This was a common activity. Therefore, they were SLAVE OWNERS, and all benefits they receive from the Federal, and State governments should be nullified, and all reservations liquidated, and sold. Their special privileges, and subsidies should also be removed.
We can not tolerate former slave holders getting special privileges paid by taxpayers.

Just like every other groups throughout history, whether in Asia, Europe or Africa. Murdering a whole lot less people has nothing to do with better morals if thats what you are implying. It has to do with technology and reach.
