I said it before, they won’t be satisfied with tearing down just some of our history, they want it all. They are triggered by President McKinley because his policies provided them with the very state they live in.

A mental disorder.

Where is Arcata? I've never heard of it. What has it got to do with San Francisco?
OK, I found it, over a hundred miles from San Francisco in Red Neck country. The next town over is McKINLEYVILLE. perhaps that has something to do with it

Have you ever heard the expression "cut off your nose to spite your face?" It sounds a little like that is what you are doing.

actually the attacks on both the lincoln memorial and the washington monument are already happening, as is the attacks on the constitution, along with calls for a constitutional convention so it can be rewritten.

The only thing more odd than putting up a statue is taking one down.

Weirdos.

Why are the supposed adults allowing this to occur. Don't they realize all this nonsense will some day lead to statues of their heroes or whom they consider great leaders in their time, being torn down by future generations that judge with a myopic modern lens?

Maybe some statues of people like Harvey Milk and other leftists with skeletons in their closet should be torn down now to wake them up.

You'd be surprised at the number of moderate Democrats and even moderate independents that might lean left, but are voting (R) to keep the leftist wackos in check.

It’s almost 300 miles north of San Francisco.

Shrug. If the people who own the statue - in this case the city of Arcata - think it ought to come down, then why don't they have that right?
