That’s a great idea.

And they need to get the Wall built while they’re at it.

Yes, but he will need Congressional approval to have the military do more than just provide support to the Border Patrol.

Both Obama and Bush discovered that when they sent troops to the border during their administrations.

Again, how would you guys feel about the President declaring martial law in order to allow the military to take military action?

Would you be OK with the Constitutional implications of that, such as having the 2nd amendment suspended?

This country is not a dumping ground for all other countries. So yes, using military to secure the border. Using infantry units would be my choice.

One warning shot first and if you still insist on entering this country illegally, you need to suffer from the consequences of your own action.

Just like the Marines guarding the American embassy. Using military to guard the border is even more important.

Forget about the wall, using the military would be cheap and more efficient.

Well, it has nothing to do with liberals. As I said, Obama called out the milittary to help at the border too. As did Bush.

However, both discovered that due to the Posse Comitatus Act, the President can't order the military to make arrests, detentions, or interrogations by himself. Congressional approval is required for that. Obama actually tried to get Congress to change the law in 2015, but the Republicans turned him down. So, so much for "liberals". LOL.

Should a President declare martial law to try to get around Posse Comitatus, then would you be willing to give up your constitutional rights such as the right to bear arms, freedom from search, and right to due process? Because that is what martial law means.

Every Open Border supporter should have the exterior Doors removed from their Homes and have all the Fences surrounding their Property torn down.

Then a Billboard should be placed in their Front Yards that says, Bienvenidos, Mi Casa es su Casa.

The same should apply to everyone living in Section 8 Housing up to Multi Million Dollar Mansions.

Talk is cheap.
