Shep Smith Fact-Checks Trump's Latest Amazon Claim: 'None Of That Was True'
But, as Smith pointed out, the postal service, which has faced revenue declines for years with the rise of email and fewer individuals sending first-class mail, says it actually makes money by delivering packages for Amazon and other delivery services.

“As for taxpayers,” Smith continued, “the post office’s own website points out, and I quote, ‘The postal service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses.’” Instead, the service “relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.”

I would not surprise me to find out that the trump kids bought a ton of amazon stock right after their dads tweets, this is the crazy world we are living in. Anyway I bought some, I hoping Kelly hits him with the rolled up newspaper and makes him move on the next thing, maybe muslims in the Netherlands or his tiny hands, I dont know pick a thing, plenty to choose from.

More likely they shorted it just before the tweet.

This is a bad contract that should be split between several vendors for national security reasons.

Stone age tactic for pressuring your vendors. Take the competition to dinner and make sure everyone knows about it. Might scare companies who have a tenuous grasp of market share but I doubt Amazon loses any sleep over it considering Oracle did such good work in Oregon, for example, they lost a $100M lawsuit over failure to deliver. I'm sure Trump doesn't much care if Oracle can do the job, just that he can stick it to Bezos.

Trump's attacks on Amazon set the precedent that a future Democratic president can specifically target a successful conservative company by name in repeated attacks designed to depress the stock and damage the company. Looking forward to the silence and support from Republicans when that happens.
