How about medical records. I bet the “happy” facebooks users whPosted on this thread will be happy to share their medical records.

You don't like their terms - don't use it. This is not life or death. It's a social media app.

Which is kind of funny, because Facebook is known for having excellent algorythms to suit ads to the user, and it clearly ID'd OP as a suitable and gullible victim for fake news. It's easy to see how Cambridge Analytical exploited this commercial intent to hand Trump the election by fooling the gullible.

And it cracks me up too, the people that call themselves "free market conservatives" are all the sudden against a company making money when it doesn't suit them. I suppose OP thinks all businesses should give their product away for free.

Dude (or dudette?), you are starting to sound more and more like a commie every day.

Same for me. Why would someone want to publish the intimate details of their life for all the world to see?

Well, if FB is doing this, they are screwing it up royally. Pop up ads of my searches? I have been getting ads for items from Lowes, hunting knives, knee replacement surgeries.

Why? Then it hit me that these are things my husband has searched for online, not me. He is not even a FB member because he hates "social media".

So if I want to spy on him and what he is doing online, just go on FB and look at my pop up ads.

Beside the privacy issues and now "the mothering" of its users, Facebook is racist or they wouldn't have banned Diamond & Silk. I have never been on Facebook and I never will be.

Facebook, like Twitter, Instagram, and other social media is run by Far Left Progressive, STATISTS. They are censoring anything anti Democrat, or pro Conservative, Republican or Libertarian. I don't use any of them.

You see that aspect, others see them as a germinating ground for the likes of Cambridge Analytica and other fake news that helped put Trump in office.

I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm not saying you are right. My guess is that their "agenda" is to make money. Everything else is just a byproduct.

Not on Facebook. Don't care, it's their business, their rules.
