U.S. President Donald Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in reaching an agreement to work toward de-nuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
The U.S leader was nominated by two members of Norway’s governing Progress Party, according to state broadcaster NRK. The deadline for this year’s prize passed in January, so this nomination would make him eligible for next year.
So today kiosks in North Korea are plastered with the news of the summit. They tell a tale of Dear Leader winning and winning big, getting Trump to concede on military preparedness exercises while Kim gave nothing. Sounds about right.
My goodness, Hannity. Even POTUS Trump himself wouldn't go that far. What planet is Sean Hannity living on? Any Trump supporters want to comment on this?
Sean Hannity is claiming that North Korea agreed to "complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization"
You mean besides the fact that it's creepy as hell?
Well, it's a bunch of stock images that are designed to manipulate Kim, but they likely had no effect on him because he knows propaganda when he sees it. He's a brutal dictator. They are experts in that sort of thing.
Sometimes propaganda works on its intended audience and sometimes it doesn't. It's possible that Kim saw that video and it got him to thinking about how he'd like to be hailed as the hero who brought North Korea into a modern, prosperous new age. Or he may have seen it and had to fight to keep from laughing. Who knows? Personally, I think it was worth trying.
Oh, and if you think that the North Koreans are experts at propaganda, take a gander at this video. It shows their military destroying Seoul, and while I assume it's supposed to stoke patriotic fervor while also striking terror into the hearts of the South Korean people, it's actually hilariously campy. (Be sure to play it with the sound on, for maximum effect.) Not to mention, the special effects look like something that was rejected from one of the old Godzilla movies. And I'll bet that when the North Korean people saw the video, their first thought wasn't "Yay us for killing the South Korean devils" but rather "Seoul actually has electricity? Why can't we have that?"
My goodness, Hannity. Even POTUS Trump himself wouldn't go that far. What planet is Sean Hannity living on? Any Trump supporters want to comment on this?

"Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula."
"Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula."
Admittedly, the statement did not address issues of verification. But it did say this:
"President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un commit to implement the stipulations in the joint statement fully and expeditiously. The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations, led by the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the US-DPRK summit."
So how do you conclude that Hannity is living on a different planet?
Note to all the "Yeah, but......" Democrat enthusiasts out there.
*Obama didn't meet with Kim. Trump did. All your yelling about "if Obama had ....." makes no sense, because he didn't.
*Everyone is aware there are human rights abuses in NoKo. There are human rights abuses lots of places. Right now we are interested in a peaceful stable Korean peninsula, so that you can go over there and lecture the NoKo's yourself.
If there comes a time - and Oct, 2020 would be a great time - to shut down US operations and bring the troops home there will be celebrations across America. You are invited to join. No need to wear a hat of any sort.

No, but he said he wanted meet, and FOX and GOP ridiculed the idea as the worst ever, claiming that meeting with tyrants would be disastrous foreign policy. Now that we have Trump humping a tyrants leg, it's suddenly the best idea ever.

So he let a news channel and the opposing party dictate doing what he thought was right by the USA?
Weak and incompetent.
