Just curious-

After the left's treatment of Trump, how do they expect conservatives to treat any Democrat Presidents? How about their Supreme Court Nominees? If Sotamayor and Kegan were treated in similar fashion to Kavanaugh, would the left have applauded the process?

Just food for thought. God knows that Obama, Sotomayor, and Kegan had past behavior that would been very fertile ground for personal attacks on them, yet they were not levied in the fashion metered out current republicans. Why not?

After the right's treatment of Obama, how do they expect moderates and Democrats to treat any Republican presidents? How about their Supreme Court nominees? If Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were never even given the courtesy of a confirmation hearing (as with Garland), would the right have applauded the process?

Are you 2? If not you may want to go to a doctor and tell them your memory is shot.

Did it ever occur to you that Kavanaugh was treated the way he was treated for good reason? As in, maybe he deserved it?

Neil Gorsuch wasn't accused of any sexual misdeeds or anything like that. He even ended up getting the votes of 3 democrats.

You also seem to be forgetting that the republicans deliberately didn't hear Obama's Merrick Garland nomination, which is a pretty cheesy thing to do. So yeah, the republicans have already dished out their slimy treatment of Supreme Court nominees.

I understand you have a selective memory on purpose because you'd have to address something that doesn't fit into your narrative....

But do you remember how the right treated Obama?

Donald Trump himself pushed a fake news story for years about Obama not being an American citizen. Trump finally caved like the punk he is and admitted he was wrong.

Dozens of Tea Party Congressmen and women vowed to do anything and everything they could to resist Obama.

Mitch McConnell has bragged in the past about blocking everything Obama wanted to do.

It boils down to this: the left doesn't expect their foes to be as underhanded, vicious, and dishonest as they themselves are. They have largely been correct in the past. There are a few who fight back, but not many.

Thing is, this time they've gone so far down the "outright and downright rotten" path that a good portion of the silent masses in the country has seen just how despicable the left is willing to be. They are essentially slitting their own throats because the only backers they will have are those who are just as despicable and just as radical as they are. And that is NOT a majority of the nation.

Beyond that, more and more, I think they will be getting a taste of their own medicine. The rest of the nation is getting sick of that bratty behavior. That's one reason that Trump is popular with the right at this point: he gives it right back to them. He gets the middle finger, he raises his own. They just don't know what to do with that and they are bungling it badly in many cases.

Very unbecoming behavior. The right typically dont act this way. They may have peaceful rallies and clean up after themselves. Very much unlike the ugly filthy left.
