One person, one vote would be a great change to our system. And, yes, I understand why we have the EC - I don't need some unnecessary history lesson from a random person on the Internet. The EC system, in its current implementation, is incredibly flawed.
How is the EC "incredibly flawed"? It has worked for over two hundred years. Do you want MOB RULE? Would it be OK if the mob wanted to make slavery legal again? You do know how a mob mentality can work right? Think Germany in the 30's, and 40's. Our REPUBLIC has a Constitution with checks, and balances that WORK.

Any system that gives a vote in one state 4x weight vs. a vote in another state is flawed, in my opinion.
Either bring the weightings more in line with real population numbers, move to a percentage of votes system, or just do away with the system entirely. And I'd say the same thing if Trump hadn't won. I've felt this way for most of life (basically since i learned about the system).
A more Democratic system wouldn't lead to "mob rule". We still have things like the Supreme Court to ensure that people's rights aren't being violated. And every other thing we vote on is done through a popular vote count... So why is it just the presidential election where this argument is made?
