I agree insofar as if the gun rights orgs and supporters have cogent points to get out to the public, they'd be well served to...get it out to the public.

I'm not making fun of anyone.

I think its really stupid that gun rights orgs and supporters don't make wider use of the tools available to all of us to get their message out.

I believe you will see this become the case over the next few months. These organizations are behind the curve on media presence messaging. They have always relied on "you will lose your guns" at election time. Although that message is effective (and true), they need to realize it's time to augment their tactics.

The NRA does a great job of advertising. So much so they can be annoying.

This kid has every right to speak out in favor of guns just as your Hogg-wash spokesboy can speak out against them. You probably would support a 15 y/o marching in favor of Planned Parenthood.

Regarding gun control, a good point to bring up is where one draws the line from being too lenient and too strict while still maintaining the spirit/letter of the 2nd Amendment.

If they are advertising to gun owners, they are missing the mark IMHO.

We lived in Florida for 10 years. My husband owns guns and had a CCW in Florida.

Actually, a few years ago the State passed a law stating that no city or town could pass stricter gun control laws beyond what the State of Florida has. Quite a number of big cities there, like Miami, did not like that.

Still a 15 year old cannot purchase or own a gun under FEDERAL law.
Wrong. The law is now 21 to buy a long gun, shotgun or rifle. CCW needed to take delivery same day for a 4473 form filled out.
Look it up.
