Which is probably why Mueller referred this to the FBI for investigation. Mueller is not expected to ignore crimes that are not the focus of his investigation.

And this why the Mueller investigation should stop, and Rosenstein should be fired. If they keep on digging, they'll find more and more. Keep on digging, keep on referring to the JD until you find something.

When should this stop?

Bwhahaha! The reason that Mueller should stop investigating is because, if he does, he will find more and more evidence of crimes having been committed? God forbid!

What's next? Garbage-men not collecting the trash because, if they do so, they might come across more garbage? Quick! Save the environment!

Do you have an issue with law enforcement uncovering crimes in general, or just with respect to tRump?

Then do you think Ken Starr should have stopped investigation the Clinton's Whitewater real estate deal that ended up finding out about Monica giving a blow job in the White House that lead to Clinton lying and going through an impeachment hearing? That took years and the Mueller investigation is in its infancy by comparison. Trump is not above the law.

I hate to point this out to you, but if the FBI really wanted Trump gone, then dead, he'd be a lot less trouble to them. And again, unless it was *obvious* it was an assassination that they were behind, it wouldn't really lead to a civil war. U.S. Presidents have been assassinated (or have had attempts on their lives) before, and the U.S. did not descend into complete and total chaos. U.S. Presidents are always targets for such things, and Trump has made a *lot* of enemies in his lifetime--and not all of them are political. We could very well see a contractor whom Trump stiffed for work done and lost his business as a result snap that Trump's now POTUS, and decide to make a run at him.

And again, if the FBI decided to permanently eliminate Trump, they undoubtedly have the means to do so in such a way that it'd be hard to trace back to them. Again, see the idea of Trump having a 'fatal heart attack'--I'm sure that's something they could probably engineer, and none of us would be the wiser for it. Given that Trump's age/eating habits/exercise habits are half-courting such a thing anyway, the majority of the world would probably say, "Well, it was bound to happen," and not think twice about it.

Thank you for the speeding ticket, officer. Now please ignore the dead body in the back seat and I'll be on my way...

You know, if the FBI started digging in my personal finances I would sit back and relax, because I have nothing to hide. What you're suggesting is that anyone who is under federal investigation should be able to say, hey, wait a minute, if you look there you're going to find a crime! No fair! You need to stop now, before you find ALL my crimes!

Yeah, in what world does the criminal get to make that determination?

whether trump did or didn't have an affair or some salacious interaction with these women is secondary. the main problem ( most likely for cohen ) is that, if true, each is another charge of an illegal campaign contribution.
