I don't think Rosenstein will recuse himself. He will make it a forced choice-fire him, or force him to resign. If Sessions orders him to recuse himself he will choose the nuclear option and resign.
I think he would resign or revise himself. I think he’d force Trump to fire him.
Who amongst you hast not laundered money or committed bank and wire fraud illegally paying off porn stars to protect a Presidential candidate? Let him cast the first stone!
Oh come on, that is not what I said or meant and you know it.
All these "holier than thou" posts about proclaiming innocence and nothing to hide....I don't believe it. We all probably go around breaking tons of rules every day without even knowing it.

First of all, why is resigning the nuclear option?
Secondly, with all his tentacles inside the FISA process that started the Russia investigation why shouldn't he recuse himself?

Thats a bit different then what is being discussed.
I would bet my house trump has knowingly violated the law. Not just unknowingly.
Are there people who haven't knowingly broken the law? Sure. But most people have broken the law. In little ways, and in big ways.
There is a reason I wouldn't run for office for example. Its why I believe Trump didnt plan on actually winning.
If Trump supporters would occasionally acknowledge they were wrong when presented with objective proof, they might actually have some credibility. But, like Trump, they view such admissions as a sign of weakness rather than of integrity and intellectual honestly (like most people do). That is one of the main reasons why they are a laughingstock without any semblance of credibility.
It's a typical problem with the conservative brain - it's hardwired not to think for itself. It only knows what it's been told to think, and it never considers asking basic questions of its own, such as "does this really make any sense?" This is how you get people like Trump in the White House. This has been a constant problem in American politics, and now that these people have gotten some validation from the election of the Trump creature, it's probably only going to be worse from now on.

Well, not only that, but a home equity loan!!! The only way this clown could borrow what would be pocket change for any other attorney in his supposed class was to put up his home as collateral! How weird is that?

Yes and no. One of the reasons Trumpheads are deporable is that they are so weak minded. But at any rate, when referring to Trumpheads, the terms are interchangeable. Each applies equally.

Only the ones who are stupid enough to support the Trump Creature, and they're constantly fired up about something anyway. It's what they do, who they are... it's the only way they know how to be. Normal people can't be bothered worrying about how lunatics will react.

Its not as weird as you might think. A lot of "wealthy" folks are highly leveraged.
No, not that highly leveraged. This guy has multiple LARGE income streams with several recent multi-million dollar windfalls. There's no way he can spend money fast enough to not have $130K in liquidity. And even if he could be that highly leveraged, why would he? I don't believe it. There's something going on here. Mark my words.
Thanks for the link. I will peacefully protest at the location indicated in my area if Trump fires Rosenstein or/or Mueller. This will be my first time ever in a protest. Thinking about what kind of poster/sign to make.
Not looking forward to spending hours or days standing around, but it's going to be necessary.
I'm with you, definitely not looking forward to it, not something I would typically do, but would consider this a necessity.

It would effectively give Trump the same result.
The people who want the investigation ended will still be happy, and the ones that don't, won't.
That's the trick from the dishonest left. Create a lie, accuse someone and if they defend themselves, then they're obstructing justice. You're only fooling yourself, the rest of us see right through you.

I kind of thinking that way this morning. I was wondering if I was over estimating Cohen's financial status. But it depends on how much he had to pay out right?
