The Libs HATE when America succeeds. It makes them FEEL guilty. About what? Who knows.
Come on dude, really? I thought you were better than this.

Did you forget about the $1.3 trillion omnibus, which enacted new gun control laws and increased Planned Parenthood funding, while providing no border wall funding? The $1 trillion yearly budget deficit for the next decade or more? The appointment of Bolton? The warmongering against Syria?

He's turned into Hillary.

Either way -- not sure you can categorize it as nothing.

Obama got tough on China. It cost U.S. jobs and raised prices

Obama did a few things? FEW being the operative word there. If he did anything, we wouldn’t be in such a lopsided trade imbalance right now and Trump wouldn’t need to engage in the current pushback against China. Try again. Obama was useless.

Trump has done more in a little more than a year (with the Democrats and the Left in full resistance no less) than Obama did in eight years.

Trump has basically taken Hillary's ideology and run with it. Huge deficits, huge spending, and a neoconservative foreign policy.

Bwahahaha. They've done no such thing yet. As has been pointed out this applies to everyone...with whom they arent in a trade war with. And they import very few vehicles from us. Also, they've gone after us in the WTO over the steel tariffs.

North Korea backing off of their nuke program
Not yet. But they did so after talking to China. And backing off may simply be-they've stopped testing them as they know what they have works.

Seriously, you can't trust North Korea on this, and the claim that this is a done deal comes from their negotiations with China.

Lower taxes
For the 1%. everyone else got a pittance, that to be honest is swallowed up by higher costs. Even worse? We're paying for it with HUGE deficits. the CBO just revised it upwards this last week in fact. That extra $25/week folks got? Paid for with massive deficits. IE we're literally going to be paying interest to the richest folks who buy government debt with the massive amount of money they save. And its going to cost us FAR more then the benefit we get. You have to completely ignore that inconvenient fact to think this is a good thing.
Quote:
Better economy
So for the first year he continued the stock market rise, and job growth Obama put into place, but hows it been this year? Well...stock market is down since the start of the year-and that even with the huge tax cuts! Keep in mind under Obama the stock market went from 10,428 to 19,827. Basically doubling. So better? Not really. And we're looking to get into multiple trade wars.
Quote:
Historically low unemployment
Which really got started under Obamas end of term. Claiming credit for the past presidents efforts seem to be his thing. and the latest job reports have flattened. If a trade war gets in we an expect the opposite.
Quote:
A more secure border
Again..how? Under Obama we added border guard employees, and saw the rate of illegal immigration drop massively. Under Trump very little has changed other then a lot of hate speech.

Quote:
Less unnecessary regulations
Mostly less necessary ones. We're not doing ourselves any favors here long term.

Quote:
No more apologies to foreigner countries
And no more getting along with our friends and allies. Becoming the worlds most disliked country wont help us either.

No, we love it when we succeed. But we also know what success is. Know what it isnt? Trade wars, a flat DOW (down since the start of the year), "great trade deals" like the one with south Korea that lifts the cap on imports in a area we don't reach the current cap of, and making all of our allies think we're unstable idiots.

Under Obama the deficit slowed to 500 billion. Trumps first budget blew that out of the water and we're looking to grow it to a trillion or more per year soon.

I confess I have been pleasantly surprised by China’s reaction so far to our actions on trade . I abhor protectionism but if we can get China to open up their markets more it would be great. Still going to keep my investments relatively conservative for the next 90 days.

It's a mutually beneficial relationship. The facts seem to be in conflict with your perceptions.

Trump tweeted that while the US charges a tariff of 2.5% on cars imported from China, China imposes a 25% tariff on cars imported from the US.

What his propaganda did not say was that the US imports relatively few cars from China- just 3 out of every 100,000 cars sold in the US.

It also does not take into consideration the US exports a heck of a lot of cars and light trucks to China, despite the tariff which is ultimately paid for by the Chinese consumer.

US car and light truck exports:

2008-23,896

2014- 314,580 ( Peak Year )

2017-267,473

https://www.statista.com/statistics/...ates-to-china/

Maybe Obama should have tweeted that car/light truck exports to China increased 290,577 on his watch.

Winning depends on the number of exports, not talk.

Let's see how the numbers shake out for 2018 with reduced tariffs and what percentage of all cars exported to China were made in the US.

Number cars/light trucks exported from the US to China:

Heck of a lot of cars/light trucks exported regardless of the tariff:

2008-23,896

2014- 314,580 ( Peak Year ) Maybe Obama should have tweeted that his Admin broke all records, eh.

Lower taxes For some, indeed.

Better economy Economy has been steadily improving for several years. It's never a good or bad economy for everyone.

Historically low unemployment Unemployment has been declining for years.

A more secure border A matter of perspective

Less unnecessary regulations What unnecessary regulations have been eliminated? Be specific.

No more apologies to foreigner countries Not sure what a foreigner country is. Not sure what you mean.

The Libs HATE when America succeeds. It makes them FEEL guilty. About what? Who knows.
I voted for Trump despite despising him as a human. Never drank the kool-aid or MAGA crap. I prefer to take personal responsibility for the good, bad and ugly in my life instead of attributing it to or blaming any POTUS.
