Not just the left; 90% of the GOP would poop themselves. He'd crush everyone, especially on foreign policy and domestic spying.

But he doesn't have a chance with all these idiot RINOs and the sheer stupidity of party politics. Just look at the slate of nincompoops the RNC managed to assemble for 2016.

What a cluster that was. A whole stageful of idiots - all of them with the exception of Donald Trump totally DEAF AND BLIND to what Americans had been saying.
I caucused for Ron here in CO in 2008 and 2012.

What the RNC did to Ron in 2012--stealing his delegates, refusing to even count his delegates out loud at the convention, refusing to let him speak onstage--turned me off politics forever and furthered my advancement into anarchism.

Have you seen this?

Ever since Russia came into existence, centuries ago, it has been a renegade nation, contrary to the interests of all others. It has no friends and will plunder any country that is weak enough to allow it. Their No. 1 export is mobsters and criminals of all sorts. We will be no better, if we allow Trump to have his way here.

His motives aren't as political as financial. He wants Russia be be financially secure, and to be remembered as the Father of New Russia.
To accomplish those goals, he has to weaken American influence and American financial power, any way he can, anywhere it exists and is blocking his ambitions.

That demands a war for minds, not territory, and that's why his hackers are trying their best to mess us up. The more divided and disrupted we are, the easier it is for Putin to edge in and replace us in all the places where our alliances and influence counts the most.
If he keeps us at war with ourselves, he gets to win on the cheap. If we go to killing each other here, he saves Russian lives abroad, and that's all the better for him.

This is what the cyberwar is all about. This is the face of the New Cold War. So far, we haven't even agreed we are all engaged in it, so for Putin, the war campaign has been even easier than he anticipated. But it isn't over yet, though we have no time to spare to get our act together.
You aren't wrong.
I would add that far too often people confuse ally with friend. One is not the same as the other. Russia can be our ally without actually being our friend. We have many such allies. What amuses me is 5 years ago the left criticized the right for Cold War thinking when Romney warned about the Russian threat. The left was all in when Obama had his hot Mic mount and was caught making promises to the Russians. Now the Russians are evil!!
News flash they have always been evil by our standards.
Cyber war. We barely have a cyber defense platform. Instead we invest billions in other countries. We give billions in aid to leaches like Israel, Egypt and Palestine. We spend relatively little in defense against a cyber attack.

That makes no sense. She and Rand have completely different views on just about every single issue.
