I think the NRA is deliberately misleading about money from their Russian connections
Torchin was given and NRA award that goes to people who contribute a million dollars
But in that letter there is no mention of that amount

Some Russians must want us to keep and bear arms.

I like this part:
Quote:
"Given the extraordinarily time-consuming and burdensome nature of your requests, we must respectfully decline to engage in this beyond the clear answers we have already provided," Frazer wrote.
Which is ironic because they lied and initially claimed only 1 member.

If they think Wyden is going to stop at this point they are vastly mistaken. And Wydens going to find a way to REALLY push hard once the Dems take office.

Makes sense. The Russians want to divide Americans as does the NRA.

Not to mention the fact that as lone as Americans are busily killing each other, it saves them the bother later.

The NRA is starting to look un-American
That's because it is a warped and twisted version of what it once was.

It is a tax exempt lobbying firm for the arms industry, and it's popularity makes it one way to slip foreign money into our political process. The NRA's role in supporting fringe candidates is disruptive and destabilizing to our society. The Russians probably enjoy seeing Americans shooting up one another and bickering constantly over the fake news and hoaxes they generate.

It suits Putin's purposes.

How is the NRA responsible for any of the shootings that go on?

So much this. Like the Republican party, the NRA used to be something I respected.

So we can protect ourselves from the Deep State.

By the way, how much money did Russians donate to Hillary's campaign? I know one Russian bank that had sanctions against it gave John Podesta's brother $130,000 to give to Hillary with the understanding she would lift sanctions when she became President. Money well spent!
