In an interview with The New York Times at Syracuse University, Handler argued that the movement which has seen hundreds of public figures accused of sexual misconduct was “a complete referendum on Donald Trump being elected to the presidency.”
Seventeen million women across the world have been sexually assaulted,” Handler said. “It’s all over the place. So to ignore it is to live in a lane and be delusional about your own experience.”
Among other comments, Handler also suggested that black people know how to vote in their own interest but women do not. In the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump lost the women’s vote by 42 percent to Hillary Clinton’s 54 percent.
“Black people know how to vote in their best interest. And women sometimes don’t,” she said. “We’re stronger when we’re together and stick together and vote in our best interests… and we have a group, and we say, ‘No more.’”
That's a pretty sad statement. Women have been sexually assaulted by the millions (not arguing this point) but it's only an issue because Trump was elected?
Trump has earned the scorn coming his way but we would have continued to sweep it under the rug if Hillary had won? To me another good reason for her not winning. (and again, no, I did not vote for Trump)

I share your sentiments.
I'm glad #metoo has momentum. Long overdue.
It started out as a political weapon, like the anti-war movement that died whimpering in 2008-09 after having outlived it's usefulness.
Unlike that one though, #metoo broke it's political leash and went after D's and R's alike which was and continues to be a great thing.
That’s kind of sexist don’t you think. To assume all women have the same wants
Sexist and racist. I'm sure African Americans who vote democrat are glad she approves they are doing the right thing because they are just a hive mind in her micro pea brain. The old girl cannot think for herself unlike the conservative women she distains so much. Those women are resisting a feminist storm and they are modern rebels. Handler is just a generic angry feminist with a stick up her.... Yawn.
I get her view point. As a gender (females) have one way blinders on. I recall listening to local business women glorifying Trump. They immediately went to the bag of lame reasoning bringing up B. Clintons antics. I then said....so why are you willing to let another into office?. Well...hmmmm.....tax reform.....yeah...that's it. We like his tax reform (smh!).
Yup,the blinders are still on.
The me too! Movement may help some victims speak yet ask them who they voted for and the 'T' loyalty precedes it.
And yes I'm female. I just don't follow the sheep. I'm not a #Me'ewe!
Meh, I don’t pay attention to the ramblings of alcoholics.
