I don't know anyone on the "left" that thinks the investigation would go away if Mueller was dismissed. That's actually Trump's biggest problem. He is probably thinking he can make it go away by making Mueller go away...but he is wrong there. This investigation is much larger than Mueller.
Yes. It will be an act of obstruction of justice and full admission that he has acted illegally and does not want it to come to light.
So Mueller should have Carte Blanche to do anything he wants in the course of the investigation, including violation of attorney/ client privilege , without fear of repercussions in any way, shape or form?
It's probably coming, although it's also probably too late for Das Fuhrer. If Trump fires Mueller should he be impeached? I'd say so.

Many are speculating that Mueller has nothing, and is goading Trump to fire him, and the fools with TDS would want to bring down a duly elected president just because they do not like his politics.
One can be convicted of obstruction of justice when not guilty of the crime.
For example, Trump could be obstructing justice to protect Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Don Jr., ...

Tell us how he violated attorney client privilege.
Attorney client privilege doesn't mean your attorney can commit crimes without being the subject of a warrant. You know that right?
And the FBI has a special taint team setup just to deal with this, and avoid breaking it.
