China, believe it or not, is a very peaceful nation. They believe in trade, education, hard work, getting ahead and other good things.

The last thing they want is War.

At the same time, they aren't going to put up with our Colonial BS anymore. I wouldn't either if I were in their shoes.

The best idea is mutual respect and trade. Not MAD. But friendly competition and trade and exchange of ideas which are good for mankind (medicine, science, etc.)....

I know this is what China wants. The real question is what the USA wants.

Uh, does Vietnam or Korea or Afghanistan or Iraq or Syria ring a bell.

Military force means little in this particular game. I would hope that we are not the Barbarians that would nuke large parts of the world for the sake of money. Short of that, our military is what it should be - a deterrent against invasion of our actual country.

Who knows what the USA wants. Our government has grown so massively that it cannot even control itself or keep itself in check . Theres tons of federal agencies on top of agencies on top of agencies... The current state of our country somewhat reminds me of the Romans, and we all know what happened to them...

As for the petro dollar, well China is working on a petro yuan, so maybe we will find out as part of Trumps trade war.
Please. We could not even take on Vietnam and win. A tiny, tiny country. We could destroy the world, us included.

It costs roughly 1.1 to 1.9 million for every tomahawk missile we launch. Thats 6 college educations give or take.
500 lbs Jdams_ smart bombs- 40 grand each.

The billions we waste on a country that hates us. In a civil war that is none of our business.
It really is disgusting how we can't learn to mind our own business.
