Actually...it looks an awful lot like he took hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes from foreign entities - businesses and individuals, including Russian oligarchs, AT&T, Swiss-based Novartis, a Korean aviation company, and others, during the campaign and right after the election, all through his "lawyer" Cohen's LCC supposedly set up to pay off Stormy Daniels and very likely other women. It's also widely suspected this was just one of many LCCs created by Cohen.
If these foreign donations were used for campaigning, that's seriously illegal right there. If they were used to bribe or persuade favoritism once Trump was in office, or after the election but before his inauguration, that's also very illegal, as I understand it. See foreign emoluments.
Check out the seven-page report which broke via Stormy Daniels' very thorough lawyer last evening, and which have been confirmed by the media today.
The tip of the iceberg is rising...
Just to remind everyone again
Michael Cohen was one of 3 national assistance RNC campaign finance chairs
That means they scour up money for the RNC
There could be other LLCs out there that were not tied to Stormy Daniels's payoff that were taking in money during the campaign and putting it into the pocket of the RNC
Cohen's job was to hit up people for money---
It sounds perfectly logical to me after seeing ATT's response to the 200K it paid into Cohen's LLC (really a paltry sum but still something) that happened after Trump's Inaugauration that there could have been OTHER contributions made prior to 1/17...
Avenatti might now have access to those
Someone suggested this info could have come from a Russian involved with the other end who was upset that Trump has put harsher sanctions on the aluminum oligarchs--even if they are suspended til October at this point...
But that only takes care of the Russian contributions from Columbus Nova's American arm...
Doesn't speak to the Korean airline money or ATT or Novartum
You certainly can
Widespread criminality is no justification for ignoring it and by the act of NOT bringing it into the light and opposing it, the criminality is supported in its actions...
Dude. Seriously did you graduate High school? No wonder your side isn't taken seriously.
Yes, "I" lost. A lot of people lost when Trump was elected because he really couldn't care less about governing our nation, about building a strong culture/society that we can all thrive in. I am not a Socialist, I am not a Communist, but I am not a Capitalist, either. I favor balance. I favor a system that rewards hard work, but provides a safety net for those who, for numerous reasons, cannot thrive. I hear "cut food stamps!" and realize it's children that will suffer. I hear "end Obama Care!" and I see that too many people cannot afford insurance on the open market.
I am left-leaning, and I am comfortable with that. You disagree, and that's fine. But I find Trump a detriment to our nation. I am not less patriotic, my patriotism takes a different form. And I don't want YOU to have less or do without. I want a country that allows the most to thrive. I don't believe wealth SHOULD be concentrated with the few, but I don't think it should just be redistributed--I think we should stop rewarding CEOs who are NOT passing their increased wealth down the chain--one-time payments don't help in the long-run--and raise the minimum wage to allow more low-income workers the opportunity to get off of benefits. I think investing in infrastructure is necessary for a thriving economy as well.
I don't need a president who is morally, ethically, and has been literally bankrupt. I don't want a president that is a sabre rattler because he wants to play war. I don't want a president that doesn't look at the big picture, because the big picture matters.
Trump has lied to the American public, and he needs to be taken to task for that. He should understand the gravity of the situation he's placing this country in, and he needs to account for the actions of people in his administration.
Yes, you lost and probably supported a corrupt Clinton. Trumps doing exactly what 70% of the Electoral College elected him to do and he's doing an outstanding job.
I look forward to his 2020 reelection and watching people like you continue your meltdown. I hear Zoloft is good for your condition.
We should hope he doesn't try to sell art off the walls...
Probably wouldn't matter, as he keeps a fake Renoir in Trump Tower, and brags about it to all his guests, regardless of the fact that the real one has long been in a museum.
He'd probably just get decent copies made of the White House collection to sell off.

70% of the Electoral College - but 20% of the American people.
Don't think I'd be referring to corruption, were I in your shoes. Maybe you missed last evening's breaking news about the extent of Cohen's LCC.

Yet things like selling uranium to Russia and busting up servers in basements that had been ordered confiscated by the courts doesn't bother you in the least. What bothers you are things like consensual relationships and vocabulary.
The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct peculiar to officials, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, unbecoming conduct, and refusal to obey a lawful order. Offenses by officials also include ordinary crimes, but perhaps with different standards of proof and punishment than for nonofficials, on the grounds that more is expected of officials by their oaths of office.
Poor leadership-ie failure to supervise (see pruitt), dereliction of duty, unbecoming conduct (you know, like doing the dirty with a porn star while your wife is home alone caring for your 3 month old), etc etc.
Maybe some of you folks should do as I suggested and find out what high crimes and misdemeanors are. I provided a brief description that is accurate, but not all encompassing.
Being proud of your ignorance is not a good look folks.
If you were able to remove your blinders, you'd be talking about Barry's various crimes. But of course, he's clean as a whistle isn't he? Yes we can! Let's start with fake birth certificate.
