At least he wasn't in aviator gear..... not yet anyway.

Has Trump morphed into W.?

Honestly even the most ignorant politician would be careful to use that phrase.
What, exactly, did we accomplish?

The many, many drone strikes during the Obama Administration was one thing I did not support Obama on. I believe it was his greatest failure as president.

All the sites were prearranged between the Americans and the Russians. Both sides could claim success. The chosen sites had to take a minor hit. Military school was designated as chemical weapons facility. Some strays went into residential areas and into the ocean. The Syrian air defenses struck down 75% of the missiles since the locations were known in advance. The Americans and the Russians didn't have to disclose their advanced systems as almost all of the weapons systems engaged were Syrian, British, and French. It was basically a training exercise for NATO.

There's no impact on the ability of Syria to complete the elimination of the NATO-backed jihadists. There may be more repatriation of the jihadists to Saudi Arabia coming.

In a better world, the U.S. should not have taken part in this attack, since Syria did not declare war on the U.S. or threaten the U.S. or its allies.

At least it was a limited, surgical strike only on chemical weapons facilities and most of Europe agrees with our decision. However, it should not be allowed to escalate further.

Well, perhaps you can explain just WHAT specifically was accomplished that should have everyone singing Yankee Doodle Dandy in the shower?

Nothing. Nada. Zero. Zippo. Etc. Etc. But Trump did get a couple of days off from being pounded by Pornogate, Lawyergate, Russiagate, etc. Enjoy the weekend, Donnie and friends. Monday will be back to business as usual. More bombshells dropping and they won't be in Syria.

Or, maybe he'll start tweeting 'Mission Accomplished' every time he goes potty all by himself in an attempt to sound like he's doing something useful.
