They have to be replaced anyway. The cost was already spent when they were produced. We cycle the old ones out on attacks like this. Cost is zero, the soldiers aren't sitting around for free until missiles are fired.

You drop a bomb in another country there is no lasting value. It’s gone.

If you instead use that tax payers money to build U.S infrastructure, the value pays for itself for decades.

Saudi Arabia is massacring Yemen with U.S. weapons, including white phosphorous. When's the airstrike on Riyadh?
