Good question. I mean, it is kind of cold here in Siberia. If Mr. Putin stops paying me for posting on such an influential website as city-data politics and other controversies I might not have enough rubles to buy my next liter of vodka.

The interesting thing is how transparent their tactics are. Putting out 10 different fake stories and angles all on the same subject in hopes that one sticks or people get confused. Its not a bad idea if it works, but I can't see anyone falling for it anymore. Lavrov used to be a credible man, now his job is to claim the UK used chemical weapons in Syria as a pretext in order to destroy chemical weapons depots and make Putin look bad. Its nuts

Mr. Putin says it was a false flag.

He also says it's just like when your Colon Powell said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and when George Bush's father invaded Iraq the first time because some Kuwaiti girl said Iraqi soldiers were taking babies out of incubators and throwing them on the hospital floor.

Mr. Putin also said it was nuts when Ronald Reagan sold chemical weapons to Saddam Hussein to use against Iran and then was shocked when he turned around and used it against the Kurds.

Privet comrade. They put you on this assignment da?

Blaming America for what Soviet Russia did is not exactly a new concept.

Let me guess, you think we armed the Taliban and sold Saddam the weapons he used in Kuwait.

You're right, we kicked Iraq out of Kuwait just based on that story alone. No other reason. How very interesting comrade.

Da. Mr. Putin says the CIA trained and funded the people of Afghanistan, called mujahideen, to help them defeat Mother Russia--something called "Operation Cyclone." He says by 1987 the CIA was giving them $630 million a year. He also told us that Pakistan's President, Benazir Bhutto (Pakistan had a female President before you filthy Yankees), told President George H. W. Bush regarding them, "You are creating a Frankenstein."

Er no... *we* armed the Freedom Fighters, not some "Taliban")))

This has nothing to do with my post. I'm starting to see a pattern...
