NY City doesn't have any either but are right outside the city line.

How far is the nearest Wal-Mart?
I used to live in Marin County (the Golden Gate Bridge connects San Francisco to Marin County).

Marin County doesn't have any Walmarts. Same re San Francisco. San Mateo County (the county directly south of San Francisco) doesn't have any Walmarts either.

I live in Texas but, IIRC, all of the Dollar General stores I've ever been in have been in other states .
