Well I feel honored.

Facebook informed me one of my friends took that little quizz and shared all their friends.

And that included me without my knowledge nor permission.

Here was the FB notice.

Protecting Your Information
We understand the importance of keeping your data safe.
We have banned the app "This Is Your Digital Life," which one of your friends used Facebook to log into. We did this because the app may have misused some of your Facebook information by sharing it with a company called Cambridge Analytica. In most cases, the information was limited to public profile, Page likes, birthday, and current city.
You can learn more about what happened and how you can remove apps and websites anytime if you no longer want them to have access to your Facebook information.
There is more work to do, but we are committed to confronting abuse and to putting you in control of your privacy.

When I clicked on more information FB confirmed I never took the quizz and because my friend did, Cambridge Analytical got my personal data including birthday, location, and page like history.

Yup -- you are only as secure as your friends on Facebook allow you to be.

I wish FB would tell me which of my friends was so stupid to fall for this quizz thing.

How long is the list of stupid friends ?
A good way to narrow it down is ask them for some money or co-sign a loan for a new car.

I bought your information.
I'm your new boss.
You'll find me to be cruel but... fair.

50% of my direct family got the same message.

Since Zuckerberg testifies I have hid additional 15 advertisers that have my info as I took high 400 advertisers down and now another 15 were added.

Companies I don’t conduct business with, many that I never heard of and AAA in States I have no interest in and never have been, had my info.

This is very disturbing to me. I’m not closing my Facebook as I want to see and perhaps find other old friends but that’s as much as I will use Facebook for.

If it was or will be a paid platform then count me out as Facebook doesn’t get a dime.

Some realtors pay for listings on Facebook but we know how Facebook can decide who gets to see your info on their news feed.

Since Facebook labels me to be something I’m not, I can’t trust this extreme left wing social media company as Zuckerberg admitted his company to be.

If you're talking about the way he got Trump elected, Trump is no longer a Democrat. He's a Republican, in the fullest glory, taking from the American people and giving in to his corporate owners. If the Cambridge Analyitica debacle tells the story, Facebook is more likely a right wing shill....

So now everyone is worried that their publically posted items may have been seen by others, what a shock. Be worried when your credit data is stolen from a company that you never authorized to collect it (Equifax), they don't have security options that allow you to tailor who sees your information like Facebook does.

They fell asleep reading my info.
I always assume my entire family, pastor and boss will see EVERYTHING I write.

Let's face it, all of us who post any information on the internet are exposing our lives to others, some of whom are going to use that info for nefarious reasons. I have no FB account, never will, but we still put a lot of info on sites like this one that can be mined for data.
