Michael Cohen is a thoroughly unpleasant individual. I hope they don't let him off lightly, even if he does flip.

Or he can't pay them. Defense attorneys are happy to represent guilty people as long as they're getting paid.

People that can't pay sometimes flip or settle because they don't have money to pay attorneys.

This is how Trump settled a lot of his lawsuits against contractors and regular people. He knew that he could outlast them in lawsuits because regular people didn't have endless funds for attorney fees. The people threw in the towel. Trump used the strategy to his advantage.

Well let's wait and see, shall we?

He's guilty of something and it seems he knows it. I guess it depends on what they are going to charge him with if /and it is connected with Trump in any way.

The articles about Cohen switching legal horses came a day after reports in Vanity Fair and the New York Daily News that Cohen has been telling friends he expects to be arrested any day now.

Cohen, 51, is being investigated for various business dealings, in addition to the $130,000 payment he made Daniels shortly before the 2016 presidential election that sent Trump to the White House.
Daniels has said the money was in exchange for her keeping quiet about an affair she says she had with Trump in 2006. The White House has denied any such affair, but Trump this year belatedly acknowledged reimbursing Cohen for that payment.
Cohen reportedly said he would take a bullet for Trump.
I wonder if he still feels that way after Trump said that Cohen only represented him in a tiny proportion of cases - essentially distancing himself.

They were eating up an estimated $350K every week. If he ran out of money, they ran out of interest.
