Conscious inclusion ... racial bias education ..

-

Starbucks is closing all its stores nationwide on May 29 after an incident in which two black men were arrested at a Philadelphia location.

The coffee giant on Tuesday announced plans to close all US stores for the afternoon of May 29. Starbucks said in a statement it plans to "conduct racial-bias education geared toward preventing discrimination in our stores."

"The training will be provided to nearly 175,000 partners (employees) across the country, and will become part of the onboarding process for new partners," Starbucks said in a statement.

The training will cover topics such as "implicit bias" and "conscious inclusion."

Hopefully they will extend that training towards acknowledging those lawfully carrying a firearm similarly.

10 minutes after work one day should take care of the problem if there really is one.

But it's not a problem.

Why on earth are the calling it "Racial Bias education," when race clearly didn't play a factor?
It's all about laptop thieves, and homeless Real estate brokers having business meetings.

That's awesome.
At least they are taking steps to recognise the problem.
Good for them.

On May 29, everyone switch to Dunkin Donuts or your local independent coffee shop. And don't return to Starbucks.

DD makes a good cup of coffee and they employ old ladies that call everyone "hon" -no diversity training necessary- white, black, green, blue, purple, male, female, trans or dog or cat or fish, everyone is a Hon.

Starbucks is overpriced and dumb in pushing their politics, it gets old.

Now you'll have Blacks hanging out at Starbucks without buying anything just saying "Yeah, just try kicking me out".

They be playing the Starbucks lottery.

Lol, so the narrative was: The manager didn't do anything wrong. She enforced company rules, and idiots are complaining and threatening to boycott.

Starbucks decides it's such a serioosu issue that it will close all stores for a day to : ""conduct racial-bias education geared toward preventing discrimination in our stores.""

New Narrative: Starbucks is pushing the politics of not being biased against African Americans, now we must boycott.

Astounding.

This is a tragedy.
We need a SJW special prosecutor to look into this.

There could be some gender issues and microaggressions we don't know about.

I hope other places get the message.
I can't wait to go to a Waffle House, occupy a booth and not order anything while I read and talk on the phone.
