Yep, it's socialism, alright.

Corporate America LOVES having millions of sub-minimum wage illegals in the workforce to hold down pay and benefits for American workers. Meanwhile, they don't pay any fringe benefits like health insurance, so those illegals clog up emergency rooms across the nation that you and I get to pay for through taxes.

All to increase profits and executive bonuses.

It's socialism for the wealthy and capitalism for the rest of us who foot the bill and compete for a paycheck.

It benefits the "right people" at the expense of the public.

Last I looked, most corporate America has been supporting democrats. They also tend to be in democrat cities where they can take advantage of the illegals and immigrants on work Visas that the democrat politicians push through. Hell, look at Disney, a huge supporter of the democrat party, and they had no problem firing their long time American workers at their parks and replacing them with immigrants on H1B1 work Visas.

Yes, flooding the country with cheap labor has helped hold down blue collar wages and has been a bi-partisan corporate con-job.

However, pointing this out and complaining about it just gets you labeled as racist.
Truly ironic given the exploitation of illegal workers.

And of course you get the old "Americans won't do those jobs" line which is true at the wage levels they can pay illegals....

The illegal immigration has been persistent through both D and R administrations, house and senate control etc. etc. etc. The corporations and other businesses that use that cheap labor spread around money to both parties.

The idea that this is just a democrat\corporate play is just blind partisan politics.

P.S. Hillary did get most of the corporate money in 2016 but at least part of that was because they all thought she was going to win and I'm sure to some extent fear of Trumps anti-illegal stance.

Of course they contribute to Dems.

Not nearly as much as they support Pubs, who pass the laws that corporations write for themselves and present to their bought and paid Pub legislators to process.

They buy influence. On both sides of the aisle.

Please post their contributions to both Pubs and Dems to prove your point.

In some respects it is true that Americans won't do some jobs. A couple local poultry plants pay the highest wages in the area and have good benefits, but because it is nasty work only Hispanics will work there. And nationwide, construction trades cannot seem to find help. Every contractor says that young people just don't want to do manual labor jobs. I know I paid high wages and could not even get the unskilled interested and I was willing to teach them a trade that pays very well. Our local high school has a building trades class where students build a new house, and are having trouble getting enough students.

Might be highest in the area but probably not saying much. My experience shows they pay just above Walmart which considering the working conditions, is not much of a deal.

Construction Trades have two issues:
A, Illegals came in and undercut everyone's wages putting many companies out of business. This depressed wages to where people are hesitant to get into the various skills. No license....no worries the company will hold the license.
B, All boils down to pay, benefits, and how the employee is treated. People will work if those are right!

Many young people only want tech jobs and many are lazy.

Yes, Econ 101. Increase the supply of a good you lower prices. Illegals lower wages.

The liberals, pushing for illegal immigration are the real racists. They are the ones, who in their drive for cheaper labor to mow their lawns, watch their brats and put their roofs on, are pushing for exploitation of brown people, yet somehow those of us opposed to illegal immigration get labeled racist?! Once again, those on the left are masters of projection.
