Yeah, that's right, the USA's so-called "ally" against the threat of Iran. All US Presidents (of both parties) since FDR have cozied up to them to one extent or another, especially the Bushes but also Carter, Reagan, Clinton, and Obama.
And now President Trump and Jared Kushner have doubled down on supporting the Saudis, and are all buddy-buddy with the Saudi Crown Prince and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi (in the United Arab Emirates, which has long served as yet another source of money and terrorist operatives for al-Qaeda and similar jihadist groups).
The Saudis and the other authoritarian, Wahhabist-Sunni or Wahhabi-influenced Gulf monarchies have an army of powerful public relations people and lobbyists in DC and the US (including many ex-US government officials and other political elites - again, of both parties) - rivaling that of Israel, in fact (whom have increasingly seen the Saudis as an ally against Iran - the enemy of my enemy is my "friend", I guess, and they're both allies of the US. Go figure. ). And of course there's the military partnerships (arms deals) and of course, the oil.
If Trump or any other President were actually serious about combating "radical Islam", they would immediately move to cut off the terrorist-supporting Saudis - the ideological and financial Head of the al-Qaeda/ISIS Snake. But it's almost as if the US's government's geopolitical agenda is about cozying up to extremist dictators and other glorified thugs in exchange for oil and foreign investment within the US.
Because the Saudi govt wasn't responsible, just some Saudi citizens. The govt allows a lot of the powerful extremist clerics to exist to keep peace there with the govt. The Clerics are powerful and could cause uprisings, so they let them do what they want. You either have to rule with an iron fist like Saddam, or work with them to keep them happy.
And America and Iraq is primarily responsible for ISIS. ISIS formed after we overthrew Saddam and there was a power vacuum and we exiled all of Saddams experienced war generals and soldiers. Then the new Iraqi army basically gave up and ISIS took all of the tanks, guns, etc. It all started with America.
Also, we are not trying to go to war with Iran. WE just don't want them to have nukes. And their govt used to publicly put down the US, but the citizens mostly like us.

You don't have your information straight.
What evidence do you have that Iran wants a nuke. Not what you want to believe but what you know.

Why would "I want to believe" Iran is trying to get nukes?
You are clearly clueless and clearly don't follow the news, yet you are posting on political issues. The world spent the last 4 years negotiating with Iran for "the nuke deal" and now trump is talking about tearing it up. I has been covered in the news for the past 4 years.
