Ahh, there's nothing better than leaving the country for a couple weeks and ignoring all news. On my way elsewhere I spent time in San Francisco and Hawaii...holy krap folks, you have to see all the homeless! Big chunks of Honolulu look like a third world country mired in poverty. All run by Democrats btw.

So perusing the web today it's weird but libs still have the hots for a stripper/porn star, California may pass a law tomorrow banning books and most amazingly Starbucks turned itself into a homeless shelter. And lookie here libs...

"Latest Marist survey says more voters would oppose than support congressional candidates vowing to remove the president"

That big blue wave is turning into a liberal wet dream.

If Trump has to go, then he’s gone. Goodbye. See ya.

We don’t care about the polls.

And the blue wave? That’s a done deal. Buy stock in it.

...i guess you didn't the bumper sticker on my 1984 beach beater, it's a little faded but one can still read it with ease...'Welcome to Hawai'i...NOW GO HOME'

will dems run on keeping illegal immigrants, opening the borders, and repealing the 2nd amendment? if they do, even dems will vote for the republican candidates.

After November, Trump will be working with Democrats. He’ll be signing liberal legislation for the rest of his term. He’s gonna do what we say, and we’ll make him a more effective president.

He’s wasting his time with Ryan and McConnell.

Surely you can do better for facts than a website run by Laura Ingraham. I had you pegged as smarter than that.

Republicans in the house are leaving in droves...over 40 now and probably still counting. Personally, I think they are cowards. They took an oath to serve our country yet none of them have stood up to Trump. Plus, we need checks and balances. We can't have one party running this country. It has been tried but pretty much always fails in the midterms when the other party takes over one of the branches.

It was a brilliant win...especially given the prognostications and all the polls which I believed in wholeheartedly. There's no way in hell that I thought he could pull it off. But he damn sure did.

Nevermind that I didn't vote for him...he won, and it's in the best interests of myself and every other American to get behind him and encourage him to do the best job on behalf of us all. We're all still Americans before we're Democrats or Republicans.

I don't want this to turn into another Obama presidency with nothing but embittered rivals as elected politicians while their constituents rally them on not to cooperate with each other and gridlock the process. Trump says he'll do some things...let's see if he does before the invectives start flying.

So that's all I've got to say. Looking for a sad and dejected liberal? Wrong thread. I'm gracious in defeat...and I've got nothing bad to say about it. A peaceful transition of power is what makes this country great....and we'll do this battle again in four years!

See ya then!

You forgot "we promise to raise your taxes" & "vote for us, we'll get unemployment up"
