I'll agree with you about promoting something he gave his name to. Why wouldn't he? That's just good business. Strange that you didn't know that yet are in a conversation about business. hmmmmm

No doubt there would be individual cases of misconduct but proving trump was in on it would have been hard to prove. It was the smart move to settle now that he's president. I didn't support him or hillary.

You mean on some other illegal activity Trump participated in?

Note: the original lawyer for Daniels and McDougal is now cooperating with the FBI, meaning that he was probably working with and being paid by Cohen (and Trump) to work against the best interest of his own clients. Most likely one of the things that Trump was worried about what the FBI would find in Cohen's records.

Trump says he never settles lawsuits and he knows that a lot of his base will not check because they believe him, are too lazy or don't want to know the truth.

Trump literally knows this as he said in his book. He relies on repeating whatever point he wants to make and those who want confirmation of their beliefs will not bother checking or will not accept the truth.
