??? Are you sure about that -- thought The Washington Post was the 'source' of many leaks.
That is most likely the secondary source but it started with CNN.
Of course many Obama WH staffers and appointees were/are married or related to many in the media which was never disclosed and should not have been allowed to be in these jobs.
But we the people were clueless and Trump was smart enough to wait to release that info till he became President as otherwise he would have been a huge target before the elections.

I understood that the Washington Post has been the source and CNN has reported on what the Post has sourced.
Hard to find but I did find someone saying Brennon leaked to the Post...no CNN yet.
McCabe --Washington Times said it was the Wall Street Journal.....another article sad The Times.......but that CNN was covering the story as well. Seems it may have been 'leaked' to a BUNCH of places at the same time?
Not to burst your bubble, but nearly all governmental leaks are given to legitimate news outlets. It has been so since Washington and all presidents have complained about leaks.
It is only now that we have a president, and his supporters, who have taken whining about leaks to unheard of levels.
Breaking News: Leaks are part of the job of being president.
All news organizations report on information that come from leaks from anonymous sources. The reputable news sources publish only when the leak is confirmed from multiple sources.
Why is the fact that CNN participates in this common news media practice surprising to the OP?
I'm done -- I can't find anything that shows CNN was the 'source' of the leaks.......They reported on the leaks for sure -- so did FOX.....
