I agree that these walk outs need to be stopped.

Tax money is used to give these kids an education. Walking out during school hours does not give them any kind of an education. If parents want these walk outs to continue during school hours then the taxpayer should be able to elect if they want their money to go to the schools. The parents can pick up the slack if many taxpayers decide to stop funding schools.

There's nothing wrong with protesting, but, if the kids want to protest, let them do it after school hours or on the weekends

But cigarettes have been banned in bars, work places and restaurants depending on the state. This started in the 90's.
